Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar tragically lost his life in a plane crash near Baramati in Pune district on Wednesday january 28th, when the aircraft he was traveling in crashed while attempting to land and caught fire, officials and media reports confirmed.
The Learjet 45 chartered flight was coming from Mumbai and was scheduled to land at Baramati Airport. Eyewitnesses reported that the aircraft hit the runway area at a low altitude, exploded, and burst into flames. All five people on board — including Pawar, two crew members, and two others — were killed in the accident.
