Former AP CM Nadendla Bhaskar Rao Passes Away at 90

                Former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, Nadendla Bhaskar Rao, passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 90. He died in Hyderabad while receiving treatment for age-related ailments.

               A veteran leader, Bhaskar Rao had a long and distinguished political career. He briefly served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 1984 and remained an influential figure in state politics for many years.

                Condolences poured in from across the political spectrum. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress Party leader Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed deep sorrow and paid tribute to his service and dedication.

 His son, Nadendla Manohar, is currently serving as a minister in Andhra Pradesh.

With his passing, Andhra Pradesh has lost a seasoned statesman. His contributions to public life and governance will be remembered for years to come
