Vijay Set to Become Tamil Nadu Chief Minister

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor-turned-politician Vijay is set to become the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after receiving support from alliance parties.   The Tamil Nadu Governor has now invited C. Joseph Vijay to form the government after TVK reportedly secured support from enough MLAs to cross the majority mark . Reports say Vijay may take oath in Chennai on Sunday morning at 10 AM.

.              The political development marks a major shift in Tamil Nadu politics, ending decades of dominance by the DMK and AIADMK parties. Several alliance leaders, including VCK and Congress members, have extended support to TVK for government formation.
