Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, is directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film also features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in key roles.

Set against a gangster backdrop in 1947 Goa, the story follows Raya (Yash) and his sister Ganga (Nayanthara), who are drawn into the world of crime. Raya eventually rises as a powerful gangster, but his journey takes several unexpected turns involving crime, relationships and family.

Performances

Yash is the biggest strength of the film. His screen presence, stylish appearance, dialogue delivery and action sequences are impressive. He carries several scenes with his commanding performance.

Nayanthara delivers a mature performance, while Kiara Advani does justice to her role. However, some supporting characters could have been given more depth.
